This is a hut in the beautiful Vallone di S. Anna di Sampeyre, at the altitude of 1850 m, carefully renovated to create a welcoming environment, designed for the pleasure of a holiday or a simple break.
The chalet Rifugio Meira Garneri welcomes you with a nice entrance with a bar, a large living room with fireplace to enjoy your time.
In summer time it can be reached by car, following the Colle di Sampeyre/Elva road for 10 km, or by foot using the old mule tracks, starting from Sampeyre or the Borgata di Calchesio, or using the chairlifts.
In winter time, it can be reached by snowshoeing and ski mountaineering, starting from Sampeyre (850 m of altitude difference) or from Borgata Sodani (600 m of altitude difference), or using the chairlifts of the ski resort.
For those who wish to make a reservation, it is possible to go up to the refuge using the snowcat or snowmobile transport service.
