Osteria Due Grappoli is managed by the Meinero brothers (Maurizio and Michele) and by Matteo Prato. Michele works in the dining room with the help of Francesca and Camelia, while Maurizio and Matteo manage the kitchen.
The current Osteria Due Grappoli was opened in 2003 by the Meinero brothers in via Dronero n. 8 with the name “Bottega dei Vini delle Langhe”.
In 2012 the place moved to the current location and changed name, resuming the one of the historic restaurant that was there before, indeed, very many people from Cuneo still recall the ”Osteria due grappoli” as a mandatory stopping place for livestock merchants who could find refreshment there on market days from 5 in the morning…
Osteria Due Grappoli has two dining rooms that can seat up to approximately 55 people. Both rooms have vaulted ceilings with exposed brickwork.
The entire place has been renovated, bringing back the old-time look, indeed, the building is one of the most ancient in Cuneo, going back to the 18th century.
Osteria Due Grappoli is open from TUESDAY to SATURDAY at lunch and dinner
Sunday and Monday closed.
The dishes are listed on a board in the entrance at lunch, while there is an à la carte menu on the table at dinner. There are two menu offers from €24.00 (2 appetisers, 1 first course, 1 second course with side dish, dessert, coffee and sorbet) and €28.00 (3 appetisers, 1 first course, 1 second course with side dish, dessert, coffee and sorbet), drinks are excluded.
The tasting menus are chosen from the kitchen and are for the entire table....
