The mountains of Granda favor the collection of different alpine herbs perfect to create liqueurs with well-known curative and invigorating properties.
Genepì
Genepì flowers, once dried, are used for the production of the homonymous liqueur with known healing and strengthening properties, symbol of the mountain. It is collected, cultivated and processed in all the valleys.
Genzianella
Typical of the province of Cuneo and the Occitan valleys, it is used as a digestive at the end of a rich meal.
Liquore di erbe alpine
Alpine herb liqueurs are typical products of the Cuneo valleys and among them the most known are: Amaro Chiot, Amore Dragonet, Centerbe, Gentianella, Regina delle Alpi and Saint Veran. For the preparation are used alcohol, sugar, water and different varieties of officinal herbs.
