THE LOW MAIRA VALLEY BY MTB - CYCLING TOUR

Let’s be guided by MTB guides on exciting MTB paths of the lower Maira Valley, rich in history, traditions and emotional paths through Natural reserves and scenic ridges. Discover the hospitality of Locanda Ca ’Bianca, a true local excellence.

PROGRAMME

• DAY 1, friday 
  - Arrival in the evening at the Locanda Ca 'Bianca in Dronero, relax and overnight.
  
  
• DAY 2, saturday 
  - Buffet Breakfast, lunch box.  
  - Guided MTB tour (32km, climb: 1200+, difficulty: MC) around the archaeologic site Rocceré, among beautiful villages surrounded by woods. From Colle della Ciabra we will start the descent towards the Maira valley to the Locanda Ca’ Bianca.
  - Relax and overnight
  
  
• DAY 3, sunday 
  - Buffet Breakfast.
  - Guided MTB tour (35km, climb: 1200+, difficulty: BC) where we will visit the Ciciu del Villar Natural Reserve and the San Costanzo al Monte Church, up to reach the wonderful Strada dei Cannoni. Once at Colle di Valmala we will begin the descent to Dronero through typical villages of the Low Maira Valley.

POSSIBILITY OF E-BIKE RENTAL

CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT:

• helmet and glasses are obligatory
• Mountain bike in good condition (tires and brakes)
• Clothing suitable for bad weather conditions
• Water bottle, inner tube, pump
• Type of bike required: front or full mountain bike, MTB e-bike

TYPES OF ROUTES:

We will ride on military roads in a unique and wonderful setting. Downhill we will tackle some fun trails chosen according to the technical skills of the participants. The standard routes chosen are suitable for good cyclists.

TYPES OF ROOMS:

At the Locanda Ca 'Bianca: double and 4 people rooms. Supplement for individual room: € 30,00.

THE PRICE INCLUDES:

• 2 nights in a selected bike-friendly structure
• 2 guided tours with MTB Guides (L.R. 33/2001) of Cycling Nature (www.cyclingnature.it).
• 2 days in B&B treatment: 2 breakfasts and 2 packed lunches (drinks included)
• Possibility of laundry service
